【摘要】:thesetestmethodsareusedtodeterminethestretch,growthandrecoverypropertiesthatgarmentsmadewiththefabrictestedmaybeexpectedtoexhibitduringuse.thesetestmethodsisnotrecommendedforacceptancetestingofcommercialshipmentsbecausethebetween-laboratoryprecisionisknowntobepoor.5.2.1Iftherearedifferencesofpracticalsignificancebetweenreportedtestresultsfortwoormorelaboratories,comparativetestsshouldbeperformedbythoselaboratoriestodetermineifthereisastatisticalbiasbetweenthem,usingcompetentstatisticalassistance.Usetestsamplesthatareashomogeneousaspossible,aredrawnfromthematerialfromwhichthedisparatetestresultswereobtained,andarerandomlyassignedinequalnumberstoeachlaboratoryfortesting.Thetestresultsfromthetwolaboratoriesshouldbecomparedusingastatisticaltestforunpaireddata,ataprobabilitylevelchosenpriortothetestingseries.Ifabiasisfound,eitheritscausemustbefoundandcorrected,orfuturetestresultsforthatmaterialmustbeadjustedinconsiderationoftheknownbias.Somestretchfabricsareconstructedwithstretchyarnsinonlythefillingdirection.Consequently,forthosefabrics,onlythefillingdirectionneedstobetested.DESIG:D310707^TITLE:StandardTestMethodsforStretchPropertiesofFabricsWovenfromStretchYarns^SCOPE:1.Scope1.1Thesetestmethodscoverthedeterminationoftheamountoffabricstretch,fabricgrowth,andfabricrecoveryoffabricswoveninwholeorinpartfromstretchyarnsafteraspecifiedtensionandextension.1.2Thesetestmethodsareintendedforusewithwovenfabricsexhibitinghighstretch(greaterthan12percent)andgoodrecoverypropertiesfromlowtension(upto360g/cmor2lb/in.offabricwidth).Whenagreedupon,thesetestmethodscanbeusedforfabricswoveninwholeorinpartfromnon-stretchyarnsthatexhibitlimitswithinthestretchcharacteristicsshownabove.1.3Thesetestmethodsallowtheuseoftwotensionoptionscommonlyusedinthetextileindustry;1.35kg(3lb.)and1.8kg(4lb).Severalcalculationsareincludedforfabricstretch,fabricgrowthandfabricrecovery,andcanbeusedindividuallywhenrequiredbyindividualspecifications.1.4ThesetestmethodsshouldnotbeusedtomeasurebreakingelongationofwovenfabricswhichiscoveredinTestMethodD5035.1.5ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasthestandard.Withinthetext,theinch-poundunitsareshowninparentheses.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththespecification.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
