【摘要】:ThisStandardcoverscompressedairsystemswhicharedefinedasagroupofsub-systemscomprisedofintegratedsetsofcomponentsincludingaircompressors,treatmentequipment,controls,piping,pneumatictools,pneumaticallypoweredmachinery,andprocessapplicationsutilizingcompressedair.Theobjectiveisconsistent,reliable,andefficientdeliveryofenergytomanufacturingequipmentandprocesses.ThisStandardsetsrequirementsforconductingandreportingtheresultsofacompressedairsystemassessment(hereafterreferenceasan"assessment")thatconsiderstheentiresystem,fromenergyinputstotheworkperformedastheresultoftheseinputs.AnassessmentcomplyingwiththisStandardneednotaddresseachindividualsystemcomponentorsubsystemwithinanindustrialfacilitywithequalweight;however,itmustbesufficientlycomprehensivetoidentifythemajorenergyefficiencyopportunitiesforimprovingtheoverallenergyperformanceofthesystem.ThisStandardisdesignedtobeappliedprimarilyatindustrialfacilities,butmanyoftheconceptscanbeusedinotherfacilitiessuchasthoseintheinstitutionalandcommercialsectors.
